While traveling in North Carolina this past weekend, I spotted an old fire engine and had to stop and snap off a couple of shots.

This shot was from the rear of the fire truck, looking down the upper storage area. Canon 5D, 16-35 2.8L lens.

The first shot doesn't really show the age but the second gives it away. I really like your shooting angle in both shots. It really adds drama to the photos.

Walter, I love these shots. I am kind of partial to fire engines since my husband drives one :-). They might have some leaky hoses if they put them on that truck.

Thanks, Debbie. Except for the wood "flooring" the truck appeared to be in very good condition. Probably only about 30 years old.
