I haven't posted or commented much lately as I've been busy with a family reunion and now I'll be going on vacation shortly. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures for a future topic. This is a picture of my grandson taken atthe reunion. I admit to a little cloning out on the background to eliminate soda cans and food. The black is still distracting but it was a persons shirt and the color isn't even but I left it as it was.

Not a relative. This is a young moose who was very accomodating for pictures. Taken in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The forward birch is blown out but I was to excited trying to catch my subject before he decided he had enough of being a free model.

Both are very nice shots....Love little boy blue, such expressive eyes!! The moose is wonderful, what kind of lens did you use for that one?

Thank you vsch1 and selvin for your comments. I used a Sony H5 camera with the native lens. The moose was taken in auto mode as I didn't want to chance loosing him before I got the picture focused. My grandson was takenin aperture priority probably around 4.5 but I don't remember for sure now.
