Nice shot. My only suggestion would be to crop it in portrait format, as the background on the right detracts from an otherwise good effort.

The background is abit distracting. I think because the colors are very similar to that on his hat. A nice subject who doesn't seem to mind at being your subject.

The joy in his face is infectious. Good work, as noted cropping would improve it even more.

Aloha

Nice, crispshot. I like the color saturation and the guy's smile.

I like a bit of context in a portrait. But "co-worker"? Do you work in a funfair with horses on merry-go-rounds? Or was it the the annual works outing? Plenty of rich photographic pickings in either case. I love the laugh. What did you say?

he, our other coworker, and I just hung out on a day off. Here is the other person who joined us, wearing his hat:

I think the feeling of being at home in front of a camera is because we all work in a camera store and are all pretty interested in photography. Shannon actually runs a small business and has a very unique and (in my humble opinion) attractive style. you can see her work at http://www.shannonlepere.com.

As for what was said, lord only knows!
