This is my first posting and I think it fills the bill. I shoot a Nikon D70. I spotted these trees at a local business and couldn't resist.

It sure does fit the theme and the colors and textures are very nice. Sorry I can't tell you what they are. Welcome to the forum.

I would also like to welcome you to the forum. We have a lot of fun here and even get a bit of learning done in the process. When you have time, you might want to browse the material anchored at the top of the forum.

Beautiful shot. That is quite a contrast, the Palm tree surrounded by deciduous trees. I didn't know Palms grew in your neck of the woods.

This shot has given me an idea for a holiday. Tresco in the Scilly Isles (SW corner of UK) has a tropical & subtropical garden, warmed by its temperate maritime location and surrounded by a shelter belt of huge trees. I wonder what it looks like in autumn?

Nice colors and contrast between the green and orange.
