Most of us haveseen the flowers leis common among the some of the Polynesian Islands. Man or maybe it was a woman, in an eternal quest for perfection?, renewable resources?, beauty?, decided to invent the pull tab lei.
In this rendition, it forms the letter "Q" as if asking the eternal question, why? Enjoy. ![]() |

That's pretty fancy. It reminds me of when the pull-tops were completely removeable--a real blight on the landscape! We used to link those together to form chains and neclaces or lei's. There was a lot of something consumed to make this lei.
