Recently we had to evacuate our small towndue to fires. But before I left, I took the opportunity to snap this shot of the smoke coming over the waters of Lake Spence.

Thank you all for your kind comments. The evacuation experience was interesting, but one I don't want to repeat again. Thankfully there was only one house destroyed by the fire, and no human lives lost. It has rained since then, so hopefully we won't have to go through that again.
