This is a foot bridge that hangs below an old railroad bridge in Gorham, New Hampshire that spans the Androscoggin River. The foot bridge is made of 2 x 8 boards and it is in constant motion as you try to cross. Currently the upper level is used as a snow mobile trail in the winter. It is not pretty butthere are a lot of linear lines.

That almost looks like it was built by amateurs to fullfill a need. I would think that flimsy construction like that would be condemned!

Pretty? Perhaps, perhaps not. But I don't think I would be crossing that bottom section... The top steel section...OK.
