Default A Stitch in Time: Summer solstice

This year the full moon of the summer solstice coincided with a lunar eclipse. The first three of these pics were taken looking north-east from my front yard and the fourth from the backyard (had to clear the tall tree in the neighbour's front yard).

#1 the golden hour (6:37 pm Eastern Standard Time - real time, not daylight saving)

#2 reflected sunset (6:56 pm)

#3 moon rise & eclipse (7:39 pm - later than it should have been because of the heavier cloud on the horizon)

#4 full moon (8:11 pm - after it cleared the neighbour's tree)

Hope this qualifies as meeting the challenge.

wonderful shots. The moon is quite brilliant. Thanks for sharing!
The hardest part of accepting criticism is realizing I am not perfect.......
