Default Shadows-Home and School!

I have always liked the interesting patterns made when the sun shines through a window.
The first is at my home--the hexagon window faces west resulting in a nice set of shadows of the stylized flower pattern of the leading on the window glass.
The second is at the middle school where I work--there is a long curved bank of full length windows and once again the afternoon sun casts a great pattern of the window supports on the floor and looks really cool when combined with the varying floor tiles.

Good eye! Like them both but no. 1 my favourite.
On a clear day you can see as far as the back of your head.

Beautiful abstractions! the second one harkens back to a Piet Mondrian design.
