I can feel the heat! But I have to ask, what the heck is that fire coming out of?

Wow that looks like an oil well head, and a hand that's about to melt. Very intense and as usual a great photo.

Dale, your photo certainly sends out its message of heat, but I got caught up in the outer ring of whatever the thing is that's shooting out fire. I know this isn't the case, but I just can't help but see little figures and faces circling the fire. It looks for all the world like a representation of hellfire. My hat's off to you on this one.

I thought it was Barb's Birthday Cake and the candles got out of control.

I've sworn off birthday cakes since the last time this happened.

I'd be happy just to GET a birthday cake! Let the fire rage - and let me eat cake!

You've captured the immense heat well, with that white-hot center.

My face is blistering. Looks like you took this with a super-wide lens. Having just plunked down (clicked down?) elebenty hundred dollars for one, I can see the petals on the lens shade drooping!
