This shot of a robin's nest was little more than a high reach, quick framing (easy with the articulated LCD of my Oly 5060)and a little luck. I see itfrom the perspective of the mother on her last wing flap before arriving with a meal.....Perhaps robins have better peripheral vision than my DOF but I suspect she would be focusing on the babies also....This is also my first post having done a tiny bit of manipulation with PhotoShop vs. Digital Image Pro.

If you ever are neara robinthat just squawks up a storm, look around closely. They get VERY vocal when you are near their babies. I hesitated to even take the shot but they don't often abandon their nests either. This nest was only 8 feet in the air near the top of a yew. I was standing on the porch which is right next to the bush.....
