I like this shot, BnW makes it, also the lighting down the pillar on the left hand side is a lovely effect. :-)

The trees aren't silhouettes, but what an excellent use of a silhouette frame! Great thinking there that man! It's a good photo on all accounts.

Super! It has an aura about it of photos taken in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They used a process that created an extended range of grays that, as far as I know, still hasn't been duplicated with ordinary film. (Can't remember the name of the process.) Anyway, though that extended range can't be in a digital photo, this picture nevertheless has an excellent range. Good one, Chris.

sorry for not contributing much lately but been away and since back i ve been incredibly busy...just managed to post few pics today.
Dedham is in Constable country, Suffolk (i think).

Yes, very nice! The silhouette is wonderful natural framing. Nicely composed.
