lol, here's my best example i could think of (without taking one)

this is my cousin's dog, she's a samoiad (sp?)

and i was taking shots of her eye, and as you can see the flash was too strong...

Vito this is spectacular. A magnificant job of high key. What were your camera settings, including flash.

Are we setting up a trust fund for this now blind dog? :?

um...i'm not absolutely positive about the settings, but i'm pretty sure they were

1/250, f8.0, ISO 50 with flash....but i'm positive it was in manual mode, because the shots that looked good were taken in TV mode. I can control how strong the flash is in TV mode, but not in manual, which really stinks :-\

aaand, my flash-sync doesn't go higher than 1/250 (i dunno if that's normal or not)
