This is an advertisement postcard. This is a ficticious company dealing in the "latest" tractor technology. The pictures are all scanned 35mm negatives. Pictures were shot at the Antique Powerland Museum in Brooks, OR, about 40 miles south of Portland. Every year they hold the "Great Oregon Steamup" where hundreds of old, restored, operational steam engines, steam tractors, stationary engines, etc. are displayed and demonstrated. The museum also features a huge truck museum and the Oregon Electric Railway museum.

I love the smell of burning coal. Mix it with the smell of wood to get it going.... *drools*

I used to get dragged along to steam rallies all the time when I was little. I think I've got more snapshots of traction engines than anything! All taken on very cheap 35mm points and shoots or those old 110 cartridge thingies. So out of the hundreds there are probably 2 half decent ones. :lol:
