Suspension bridge on the road from Skagway, Alaska to the Canadian border has just one support tower.

There are many very odd bridges around the world. This one, although it is a suspension bridge, might also be classified as a cantilevered bridge since most of the support is from one side.

From your picture, it is fairly obvious that only one support was necessary and there was probably no way of placing a second.

Thanks for your contribution. It is always interesting to see new and unusual sights.
