Nicely done. I really like that varnish effect of the smooth ice on the branches. The colors and exposure are great.

Nice composition...I like the use of a slower shutter speed to give the water a more cottony effect. Good capture!

Awesome, Phil. Nice composition and color saturation (you got the exposure just right). Very interesting capture!

Philby,
Very nice job showing solid and liquid forms of H2O. I didn't really notice the cottony effect until Stitchbabe pointed that out. I really saw the whole thing as frozen water. Shows how much I'm ignoring this cotton stuff. Let that not dissuade me from saying again great job especially with the varnish effect. Aloha |

I'm just taking another look at this image and you know Selvin you may be right that it's a frozen fall. I took that it was running and had the cottony effect because it looked as though there is some melting going on here....could be my brain is getting the cottony effect! :lol:Hopefully Philby can verify for us.....

The center fall behind the wood isrunning waterand at the bottom of the mini waterfall, the "cotton" like stuff, is a liquid froth. The "varnish" is clear ice.
