A chilly January morning along the Pacific coast in Huntington Beach. As a father with two sons, this scene gave me pause to reflect on the bonding experiences I have enjoyed with them over the years.

In hindsight, I'm wondering if this shot meets the criteria -- as the water doesn't appear to be the main subject. At the same time, it does serve to remind us of the "timelessness" of the ocean and how relatively brief is our journey along its shore. A lesson? Make every moment count.

This image is lovely and there's lots of eye candy goin' on here. The waves of the water create some interesting line patterns...the glass effect of the sand has a soothing look to it and I absolutely love the reflections and shadows created by the people and their dog! Really great capture Walter!

Walter,
I would accept this because of the reflective qualities of the water that you've displayed in the shot. The double you've caught is very attractive. The shadows and the water reflection are beautiful. Aloha |
