Returning from a business presentation meeting in northern Oklahoma I spotted this old oil rig tower. The advertising signs apparently didn't work too well, as both the motel and cafe were long since closed.

I love the perspective in this shot. The lines of the the tower combine to really give this shot some pizazz not to mention a vanishing point. The only distraction is the power pole with the transformer in the lower right corner. A shooting position slightly more to the right may have eliminated that.

Vertical vanishing points are hard to do outdoors because of the difficulty in getting the right exposure but you've done a wonderful job.

Clearly, your eyes are attuned to getting the right "Kodak" moments.

Certainly good exposure. I'm in agreement with what Cal & Selvin had to say. I like the inclusion of the signs...they add interest to the shot.
