Very interesting photo. I'm not sure whether you should have used a smaller aperture so that we could seemore of the fabric detailor as is. I guess for the challenge it shows the blue color and that's allthat counts!

True you've met the challenge but as Tullio hinted we also try to brainstorm how we can help each other to improve.

At the steep angle of the shot I felt myself wanting to see more of the design of the shot by using a larger angle of attack. Not sure if that would have helped with the DOF.

I suspect you were purposely aiming for a blurred effect but on a personal level. I feel a bit more in focus would add to the impact of the shot.

I agree with the above. I'd love to see more of the texture, needleworkandwhat looks like beading. There just isn't enough in focus for me...did you intend to leave us wanting more?
