I'm not sure brand matters, but speed does. Be sure to get a high speed card. Staples has the Sandisk Ultra 2 for $50. Great brand, great buy.

I've never seen the A710 IS at Best Buy nor on their website. In fact, they never even carried the A700 IS. Circuit City has had both models since they came out.
Does anyone find this wierd about Best Buy?
I'm going to have to ask the Best Buy camera dept. next time I go in.

Stonehill - I bought this from Amazon and it arrived as advertised on Monday. Can't comment on it's ability yet as I haven't had time to play with it, but my total price from Amazon was ~ $300. After a $30 credit to my Amazon credit card I opened (and will cancel shortly) my final price was ~ $270.
