Must be the new Cason ExiZoom Pro ...

Actually, there's a few things wrong with that camera.

One, I don't know how big it is front to back, but my S1, while it fits in my pocket, has a bit of a bulge. I don't mind it being a little bit big front to back, but I really would prefer it not be quite so big back to front when turned off (a few times longer when on would be ok, though.)

Also, I am assuming it's 7.1 megapixel on a 1/1.8" sensor. That's still too noisy for me. I'd be willing to sacrifice a couple megapixels, and have 5 megapixels on a 2/3" sensor (preferably a new sensor that's at least as well made as the 7mp 1/1.8" sensors - possibly a fairly decent ISO 800 and a somewhat usable ISO 1600).
Also, that "15x optical zoom" and "f=6.3-31.5" figure don't match. And, "1:3.3-3.6" is way too slow at the wideangle end. I'd rather have something like "f=6.75-270" and "1:1.4-5.6" (I would like "1:0.0something to 1.4" but there's no way to have that fast of an aperture with that long of a focal length in that small of a camera.)

And, isn't there some wasted space between the edge of the glass and the edge of the barrel?

If Canon does not hurry a little with the "S2" (if it exists...) all kind of fiction cameras will appear... So the teasing part of their strategy seems to work... and works very good.

If they don't hurry with an S2 they will loose more sales to competition - how many megazooms are out these with 4 and 5 megapixels?

Well I bought a Konica Z5 yesterday, I wanted zoom and anti-shake (stabilser), once I got it home, I was really disappointed. Plenty of noise and a real problem with taking pictures indoors during the evening, with usual lounge type lighting, the auto focus REALLY struggled.

I returned it today and am now a proud S1 IS owner. I never print out more than at 7x5 or 8x6 (rare), so the 3MP is fine for me (we have an A75, which is still going strong).

I have owned a G6, beautiful pictures but not enough zoom for me. My dream camera would be a G6 with x10 zoom and image stabiliser - or the S2-IS as it is otherwise called:-).
