I just came across a YouTube clip where Chuck Westfall of Canon USA demos the radio mode settings in the 5D3. Using the 5D3 you can wirelessly set the flash to be a master or slave. As you would with a PocketWizard. Does this also mean the 5D3 will be able to trigger the flash in radio mode? Or, would you still need the new RT transmitter sitting on the 5D3?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=yPB_Qmg4whk Obviously it's early...being as the 5D3 and the RT flash..won't hit the market for another month or two. But perhaps some one might know still? |

Sorry, you have to buy the nice, expensive radio transmitter. The 5diii does not have it built-in.
