I just bought my first digital camera, Canon A200. After taking a picture, it takes a while before I can take any shot. I guess it is "writing" to the CF card? Anywhere from 3-5 seconds. Is this normal ? Any way I can reduce this lag ?
Thanks |

depends on buffer size and priorities in the firmware.

For the time lag issue.
On my Canon A40, while in single shot mode, it won't let me take another shot while the "review" pic is on the screen. Default review time is 2 seconds. You might want to set the review time to zero (i.e. turn it off). For the quality on computer screen versus camera screen.. Check your monitor. Properly adjust the contrast and brightness of the monitor. |
