So the A70 is $100 more or so.. do I gain anything really besides the extra megapixel?
Does that extra MP really do anything? I have a 2 MP dimage X now and the prints I make are fine. I dont make huge prints.. just the standard sized ones at Wal Mart. Anywho.. my dimage X is dying and I am seriously considering the Powershot A series.. |

3.2MP will allow you to crop an 8x10 and not loose quality.
The A70 also has 640x320 movie resolution as opposed to 320x240. I own an a60 and love it. Do I need the extra MP? Might come in handy sometime, but for now I dont need it. Their digital zooms are different but who likes digital zoom :P Think that is is... |

The only benefits of having more Mega Pixels is making bigger prints at hight resolution.
That's really the only major difference between the A70 and A60. You could invest that extra $100 on a good case, tripod, wide angle lenses or the underwater cover! ![]() |
