In china, There are many voices say that on the same ccd size(1/2.7 in.ccd).
the lower approx camera 's picture quarlity is better than the higher. Really so :?: And some persons by A60 just do to the reason what i had said. |

Get an A70 if I were you. Im very happy with mine. I havent tried the A60, but I used to have the A40 which is also 2 Megapixels and I find the 3.2 megapixels with the A70 is a significant improvement on both 6x4 inch and 5x7 inch photos.

I too would get the a70 since it has the option of larger prints. It's always good to get as much camera as u can buy, and about the fewer pixels on a ccd of the same size, the better the image quality, the a60 and a70 seem to take almost identical pics at 2mp mode and below.

With the A70, you have have the additional benefits of;
1) The 3.2 MP resolution. This will have benefit when you are printing out pictures. This is a 2048x1536 pixel size (approximately 1602kb, 893kb, and 445kb in file size taken frmo the manual). 2) The 640x480 movie mode. Now, the downsize to this is of course bigger file size. However, with the price of Compact Flash nowadays it shouldn't be a consideration. hope this helps a bit. Tom |
