A70/A80 Flash with Lens adapter (dark spot)

I recently bought an A70 and an A80 and attached
the lens adapter with a UV filter to protect the
lens.

Something I noticed on both cameras is that when
taking indoor flash photography, both cameras
exhibit a darkness in the lower, right part of the camera.

This does not occur with the lens adapter removed.
I am speculating, but I think that, because the flash
itself is located in the upper, left that the reflected light
is being blocked by the lens adapter in the lower right.

Becasue it happens with both cameras and only with
the lens adapter, I'm pretty certain my speculation is correct.

Yes, it is correct. I heard other people complaining that the additional lenses block the flash light.
