Hello,
I am very torn between the A80 and the S50. With online vendors these cameras are within $50 of the other. They seem to have very similar features and I don't require the extra megapixel. The camera stores I visited both recommended the A80. I still feel very mixed feelings between them but ultimately like the feel of the A80 better. But at only $50 difference in price it seems you get "more bang for your buck" with the S50. I will be using this camera for still shots of items I auction assist for people on eBay. For travel (upcoming honeymoon in Europe), sporting events (non-professional) and just all around photos. Thank you ![]() |

I sold the s50 my wife used for a a80 and WE think its a very much better camera. The focus is better and the low light shooting is far better. But this is just what WE think.Tealblue
