RemoteCapture works correctly on my desktop PC, with Windows XP Home edition, but not on my new laptop running Vista. The laptop has the latest updates to the Canon software, Zoombrowser 5.8, and all the other parts of Zoombrowser seem to work fine, but RemoteCapture will not detect the actual camera. The laptop itself recognises the A80 without problem and as one of the main reasons for getting the laptop was to be able to use RemoteCapture I am a bit disappointed, to say the least.
Anyone got any suggestions? I assume it must be the Canon software that is having a problem.
