Dave from Canada"Jaydee - I don't know about the duty thing, I haven't done a lot of web shopping into the US.
I did visit this site though and found a 64MB compact flash card for like $9.00 US! http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail.asp?dpno=33952 Dave:, That url is for a CF Adapter not a media card |

I think most of you missed the original questioner's question. A60 and A70 have manual aperture and shutter settings, A40 basically is a point and shoot. As you guys have deviated from the original question, I shall take the liberty to deviate a bit myself here.
For US$360, you could get a new Minolta F414 with 4x optical from B&H; for US$390, an Olympus C-4000. Both are nice 4mp digicams with great manual settings. Harry |

Thanks to all. Does Minolta F414 has audio and TV out? If so, I think it is attractive.

Hi People,
First timer here today. Was wondering if anyone knows if Canon A70 does VGA (640x480) up to 30 secs or up to the limit of the Compact Flash Card ? Thanks |

I used an A60 this morning and could not get the camera to focus up close to objects when taking pictures. I'm also interested in taking close, very focused wide angle shots of objects. Being a camera newbie, do I need to get any special lenses or adapters to be able to shoot very close detailed digicam pictures of objects? i guess what I'm really asking is do more megapixels for digicams really matter for taking very focused close up shots or is it special close up lenses which matter? Thanks
