I just bought this camera today...and the memory capacity is pathetic

1.Can anyone please tell me how much max memory it can take (2GB?) and if there are any cheap deals on these SD cards?

In additon i am planning on buying 1Gb card....can anyone tell me what company and what model to buy...there are so many....its so hard to choose

2. I travel a lot to countries with 220V electricity, so I was wondering if there are any places to get a 220V adapter and 220V battery charger for this camera.

EDIT: i found a charger with 4 1.25V 2700mAh and charger by "Power 2000." Is that worth buying? COST"$ 22.95"

EDIT: do i need a LCD protector, and if so where can i get it...

Btw, how much should a god case for this camera cost?

Thanks for your help in advance.

The A95 used to come with a 32mb card, but the A610 comes with only 16.. 16mb is useless, especially with a 5mp camera. They should have included a 64mb, but I guess they give such a small card to keep costs down.

My A75 came with a 32mb card, which nowadays is pretty generous. It seems everyone is now including 16mb or less.

I guess they include the 16MB card just for the salesmen to test the camera... maybe you can find good use installing a minimal linux to boot some computer up or as floppy replacement? :-)

Haha.... forgot to answer your question:

Yes, max is 2GB. I use Kingston ElitePro 50x 1G SD and it works fine for all modes and pretty cheap.

I just use GP 2300mAh battery and GP charger and one charge can run 400 photos so I guess just pick the economic one with well known brandname is ok.

LCD protector is not a must for flip out LCD, afterall you will flip it back facing inside so it is already well protected.
