    Can you turn off 5 point focusing in Auto mode & turn on center point focusing in auto mode???What happens when you turn the beam off in auto mode???

    Nope. You can't turn off 5pt focusing in Auto.... I just use "P" instead, and leaving everything as "auto" but change to Center Point focusing.
