Greg, that price is just too low to be believed. If you're interested in it, email the seller and ask the question - WHAT GIVES!

Many, many, many SLR scams on eBay - new ones listed every day but they don't last long before eBay nukes them.

These ripoff guys are all outside of the U.S. and they use eBay accounts with very good feedback ratings but just remember this old saying ... IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS.

Nobody can sell an $8000 camera for $1500 - use some common sense and don't be greedy or you will be ripped off !!!!!!!

Hello - DON'T buy it. I will paste you a post from dpreview.com:

I just wanted to get the word out to those of you that might have been tempted to purchase those unbelieveable deals on the 1Ds and 10D on ebay. If you look at their feedback everything looks legit. But if you look closer at the items that they have sold (sometimes if any) you can start to see large differences in how they sell. I've contacted the so called sellers of these cameras and I usually get the lie that, "I have a friend that works at Canon" or "I bought them in bulk and can sell them cheaply". They most always have overseas emails or web-based free ones. Last night (the 18th) I was fortunate to find one user they had cracked into that had a real website (he sells antlers) and I was able to contact him privately...(not through ebay)...here is his reply to my email about his ebay listings........

DO NOT bid on this item!!!! This is a major scam and I only sell antlers. All of
the items that are under my name that aren't antlers are auctions that I didn't
even know about and I intend to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for bringing
this to my attention. This is the first time I've ever been blindly involved in
stuff like this so don't even bid on it.

To be safe, please buy from reputable dealers or best yet help Phil out and buy through this website.....

That should take you there. If not, go to the "Canon Talk" forum, and search for Ebay. It's titled Ebay scam.
