Canon Powershot A620 or Powershot S70 ?

After spending so many years with my trusty IXUS 300 the time has come for the upgrade.

The price of Canon Powershot S-70 today reduced and is little more expensive than A620 s.

But what to buy? Newer technology or a more expensive cam? I mean (S) stands for the special Canons and (A) for the ordinary isn't it?

Image quality,sharpnes and reallity of colours are importand.Video is not.

I am shooting portraits and landscapes.

Macro is quite importand also .
