Hello All!!!

I have a luxery problem... I really want a new digital camera (for years now!) and I'm doubing between these camera's. I want to be abel to make extreme close-ups. The G3 is really attractive, but I really like the zoom on the Olympus C-750...

What would you choose? And why?

ps. Sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm from Holland and my englisch is not that great

I went through the same choice as you, having the 750, G3 and a couple other cameras on my list of potential choices. To keep a long story short, I went with the 750 mainly because of its 10x optical zoom lens and haven't regretted it at all. It has sure come in handy for alot of the pictures I have taken. If the G3 was say a 6x optical or slightly higher I think I would have gone that route... but the difference between 4x and 10x was enough to sway me towards the 750.

After a LOT of doubing I desided to go with the G3. For now, that camera will serve me very well. It can change lenses, so I keep the possibility of an Telelens open
