I bought a canon S1 IS 3 months before. Everything was working fine, but recently my camera is not getting ON. first i thought that the problem was with battery, i changed it and tried again, but no use. One more point is that 1 week before, i had a travel via flight to india. Is there anything wrong with my camera due to the travel by flight? :cry:please reply me.

Check to make sure the batteries are in the right way and the battery door is closed all the way. Also make sure that all 4 batteries are good.

If that don't work, send it back to canon for repair.

I tries as you suggested. But still the cam is not working. :(I send it to the canon service center and waiting the problem to be corrected. Thanks for the reply...
