the canon s30 can take pictures of text?

I wish that someone could tell me if the canon s30 can take pictures of text like an exam or something like that... I've tried on the auto mode but it doesn't work... thanks for your help...

I'm quite sure that your camera has a macro mode. If you don't know how to enable it, look it up in the manual. To make a picture from an A4 page, you'll need maximum resolution and flash, or a tripod and enough light to make a picture without flash. Good luck!
