![]() I recently purchased a Canon S400 digital camera. I would appreciate if somebody can suggest me how to stamp a date on pictures. I would like to have the date stamp when I copy pictures on internet, CD or prepating a slide show. The manual has instructions how to print pictures with a date stamp but nothing about how to have it on the digital picture file. Need help!!! Thanks Shailesh |

The only way is going to be through Photoshop or some other photo editing software that allows for text messages to be typed on to pictures. The camera itself does not have the capability of adding the date to the picture before being downloaded.

There is software that will extract information from the EXIF like the date and stamp it on the photo. I think the latest ThumbsPlus will do that with the Image>Stamp command. Maybe someone knows of some freeware that will do that.
