Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has a sample of the Canon SD700 IS (Ixus 800IS) movie mode that they could post? As I would greatly appreciate it!
If you don't have a webhost to put them on, simply upload them on to one of the two free websites below and then post the web link so I can click on it.

1. Rapid Share - http://rapidshare.de/
2. PhotoBucket- http://photobucket.com/

And if you have it, I would like to see a sample of the digital zoom being used in one of the samples. A ten second movie clipwould be heaps.

Thankyou so much, Atma-Rising

I've added 3 unedited uncompressedmovie samples to my review at http://www.floris.nu/?postid=60

One of them is at 60fps but i'm not sure if you van play that at any computer.

How usefull is the digital zoom in movie mode? Is the transition smooth? What is the effective resolution when zooming 4x?

the transition is smooth but i don't think it is very useful. even on the screen you can see a lot of jpeg-artifacts.

this weekend i found out a hidden feature (i think): when you press the ISO button in movie mode you get a weird slider in the left bottom of the screen. with the left and right buttons you can then set the exposure (or brightness?) of the movie. seems very useful because i make quite a lot of movies under lowlight situations.
