Just wondering if anyone knows why the A95 is still going for a good price? I figured with all the newer models it would come down.

A couple of things going for it are (1) it's a recent model so it's still somewhat current as far as abilities but, more importantly for a digital SLR user it makes for a good compact alternative that uses the same CF cards that you use with your DSLR. Everyone's getting away from CF cards in the compact area- SD now looks to be the card of choice for compact makers. Going the SD card route allows for smaller cameras. To me,the A95 or S410 (Digital Elph)are plenty small enough- after all, you do have to be able to hold a camera comfortably, but who the heck knows how small makers are going to eventuallygo.

Eventually the technology will be passed up enough that the A95 will go down considerably in price. Of course, by then you'll not want one, either.

CF is the main reason I would agree. My brother actually went to a G5 to carry when he doesn't carry his whole 'rig'.
