Default Finally upgrading my 7D body to a 5D - Mark III or Mark IV?

Hi there! Amateur photographer/videographer. I would appreciate any thoughts.

I had a 5D mark II for a long time and really liked it. Unfortunately I dropped it and the Best Buy replacement plan would only replace with a 7D as the Mark II was no longer being made. I feel it is quite a downgrade (perhaps it's because I'm primarily shooting with a lens that isn't my favorite - 17-40 F4). I am finally ready to buy some new lenses and replace my body with a better model.

Mark III's are quite affordable at this point. Are Mark IV's quite a steep difference in quality? I primarily use for documentary video and/or street photography

I've also had a lot of filmmaking colleagues switch to Sony these days, but I do fhttps://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/eel canon loyal as I quite liked my 5D. Though maybe it's actually not the most practical for pulling focus on the go in run & gun documentary shoots?
