Hello all,
I am knew to the community and photography in general. I am looking for a very portable camera that won't break my budget but still produces very nice images. The S200 is the right size and price for me and I would like some opinions on the camera from people who have used the camera or people with just a good general knowledge of cameras and photography in general. Also, how is the picture quality of the camera? Thanks in advance for helping me out. We all were newbies at one time or another  Thanks, Triforce |

Hmm. I thought this community would be a little more helpful to newbies. I guess I was wrong.

I don't know the S200 camera that well but how much of a budget do you have and what do you intend using the camera for? Producing 'nice pictures' is a bit vague? What features are you looking for? 2 megapixels, 3 megapixels or 4 megapixels? Zoom lens, how much? Auto features or manual features or a mixture of both? Movie mode? With or without audio? Enclosed memory card, 8mb or 16mb? Maximum print size? If you could answer some of these questions then maybe someone on this forum might have a better idea of what you are looking for.
