Hi everyone,
I Have a A95 and a lot of problems when trying to focus (in low light conditions) while using AF beam. Well in fact I have the same results with or without AF beam activated. I think it has to do with the low light AF beam used ![]() A friend ofmine has a Sony W1 and the AF beam used has abright light, and their sucess focus rate (in low light) is quite high compared with Canon A95. Anyone having the same problems? Is mine faulty?? Thanks in advance, Regards, FJorgeR. |

I tried several distances ( 1m , 50cm , etc ) and nothing.. I and tried with another A95 (from my work) and the same beaviour. I think it is something to do with the A95 itself, and not a malfunction. Regards, FJorgeR. |

Where did you get the laser beam? Is it like the usual board pointers? It's not built in on the S1, right? Regards, FJorgeR. |

hmm... so what's the deal with the laser beam? Can you just use any beam? Is it safe (or can you actually hurt someone with the beam)?
