Default Keep the G9x or the S100 ?

I like to have a good pocket camera, I'm more comfortable using a camera than my smart phone. A while back I snagged a decent used S100 , then a few weeks later I ran across a super nice used G9X at a price that I just could not pass up, although I didn't really "need" the camera. So I'm wondering which to keep. I shoot photos and videos of nature, scenery, and grandchildren.

I've got $120 in the S100 and less than $300 in the G9X. Is the G9X twice the camera as the S100 ?

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

According to this it's G9X for the win. And yes, I know this is old so it's probably already long ago decided but I liked the question and felt like commenting.

G'day to both of you

The topics of " photos and videos of nature, scenery, and grandchildren" is so broad that the questions re: cameras are not all that useful - thus, I suspect, also the lack of any responses

What would assist the most experienced ones on this list is to see some examples of your current work along with outlines regarding where your current equipment cannot do certain things - and therefore what alternatives do you have to improve your photography

Hope this helps
Phil
