I can hear you guys groaning : oh, lord! another guy and his sunset pictures; quite understandable; please view the attached pictures before you start on your comments and also at

Would be grateful for comments re: the other galleries also

The sunbeams in the last 2 photos are fantastic:!::!::!:


Looks likea cloudburst with sunlight instead of rain:G.

Sunbeams are visible in the 2nd shot,butthe last 2 picturesare my personal favourites. Those 2 are simply beautiful:love:.

Yes these are very nice indeed, i try to do similar sometimes but somehow the images are never quite as good as what my eye sees!

Hi Sam,cool photos .I too have been shooting sunset photos with my Canon S1 But I am having problems with gremlins appearing in a lot of my favorite sunset shots.I am hopeful that canon will release a firmware update soon to fix this problem(emailed them the other day "early april " according to them.).


Canon S1-IS night portraight mode -1 flash exp and -1 exp comp I think

Nice gremlins, tho!!

The last one is my favourite; would be a good idea to post-process and de-noise them; makes them a great deal better and cleaner
