Just wondering how many A60/70 users use the single focus point option and how many use the "Inteligent Auto Focus" multi point options ?
When I 1st got my A70 I used the Multi but instead of finding it improved focus I found that generally nothing ended up in focus !!! Of course I am new to digicams and I may have been doing something wrong, BUT I find the single focus point option produces better results. Feedback and Opinions please Thanks Stef |

I turned off the AiAF 5 point on my a60 and just use the normal focus in the center
![]() Though I have yet to use the MF of the camera. Perhaps I will try it out and see how well I can focus on something. Also with using the single AF, I can lock the AF on a subject and move the camera around if I do not want the item that is in focus directly in the middle of the shot. ![]() |

I've always thought that multi-point focus was about the most stupid feature I've ever seen on a camera! What on earth is the point?
Hmm... I've got 2 subjects in the picture at 6' and 50' distance, therefore I'll focus at 28' so nothing will be in focus. |

I never use AiAF on my A70 anymore.
But it may help some people, who shoots whitout thinking about focus or getting the motiv in center. I think we all know a few of those.... |
