I just bought a new Canon S200, this thing is great. Anyone else have one?
Any tips for using it? Thanks in advance, Christopher |

Got mine 1 month ago, still love it. To keep it short, things I love are:
- size! - picture quality - good pictures in auto mode, except low-light (Exp.compensation should be available also in auto mode) - manual controls: AFL, AEL & long shutter - remote control from PC What I hate - cannot choose shutter/aperture values - shooting lag even with focus and exposure locked - lousy and useless ZoomBrowserEX I'm not a pro, in fact, I bought my first digicam 3 months ago. But it is amazing how greedy you can become when you get your hands on good cameras like this one. About tips: make sure you try this remote control prog. You can even set exposure and aperture there! Too bad I don't have a laptop ![]() Wapper |

Yeah, I've got one. Have you noticed any white star shaped spots on your pictures when you use flash at night time? Especially when it's dusty. Have a look at what I mean from the attached picture.
Other than that, I think it's a pretty good camera. But that white star is annoying. [Edited on 10-8-2002 by Newby] |

... it appears to be very common problem with compact cameras (not only digital ones). See<a href=http://webpages.charter.net/bbiggers/DCExperiments/html/spots_.html> this </a>and<a href=http://www.fujifilmsupport.com/faq/tech/spot/spot.htm> this </a>for explanations.
