Hi,
I have a PS-S330 camera that used to work fine on my previous system (PIII-650 with Asus MB) working on Windows 2000 Pro. Now I have a AMD XP2000 with a Soyo KT333 Dragon Lite board using the same operating system. I have re-installed the Canon software and drivers and most of the time the camera is not being detected. Once in a while it is detected BUT the Zoombrowser software is not started nor does a dialogue box pop up to give me an option as to what software I'd like to use. With this in mind, if I start Zoombrowser and try to access the camera, it says no camera detected....I'm literally about to throw this camera away. I've not seen such a lousy USB interface as this. Any help would be appreciate. |

What other devices do you have connected to your computer? Scanner? Printer? Capture card? TV card?

Get a card reader. I fought similar issues with my S40. The card reader allowed me to do everything I wanted and in a snap.
The best money I've yet to spend on my PC. |

Integrake, I don't if this will work with your setup but give it a try and see what happens.
SELECTING A DEVICE... 1. Click on the START button. 2. Go to Programs, Canon Utilities, ZoomBrowser EX and click on it. 3. When ZoomBrowser EX comes up on screen, click on File, Import Images, From Canon Camera and below it says Select Source. Use the Select Source if you have more than one USB device connected to your computer. 4. A list of the devices you have connected will appear, scroll down through them and click on the one you want to use. Click on OK. Rimbo ![]() |
