I have problems with pictures at night or in the dark - some pictures have a bunch of circular light bubbles in the picture. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Some pictures aren't so bad, some pictures have a whole bunch of these light circles everywhere, especially in the background. I had a Minolta digital camera before, and I never experienced anything like this.
Any help would be appreciated! |

Are you sure no streetlamps or any other lightsources can reflect in you lens ? Its often the most commen problem.

If that is the case, is there anything that can be done under those circumstances? Or am I just doomed to those bubbles when there are other light sources around?
Are there other possible causes? |

If it shows up that lightsources is it, then try to get a lenshood or if thats not possible - do like I do sometimes - simply hold my hand over the lens as a hood. It works - just be sure your'e not taking a photo of your own hand.
You have to try it out. Its a commen problem, thats known to especially super-wideangles like i.e mine Sigma 15-30mm. I use both lenshood and my hand often. But you know....the best way is to choose a place, where you can be in totally shadow/dark. |
