I want to buy a new camera. But i don't now wich is better Nikon 8800 or Canon PowerShot Pro 1. I hear the Canon hasmore naturalscolors than the Nikon, but Nikon has better zoom and VR.

The Nikon is arguably better... The Pro1 has a lot of "flaws"... In fact, nearly all high-end prosumers have flaws so I would wait until this year's (2005) models are released before I get anything for that much money...

Also, you should consider low-end DSLRs like Canon EOS 350D, which cost almost the same as the high-end prosumers with one simple lens (if you want to replicate the full features, zoom, etc then the DSLR will cost a lot more)...
