Hi.

I purposely took a shot to test how my new S60(which I returned it once)peformed with the red-eye. The result was great! I took 4 shots and found no red-eye except some purple fringing around the reflection of the flash.

Your pic looks like it was taken at pretty close range. I believe the problem with red eye is more apparent at distances greater than 6 feet or so. This is because when your close, the AF illuminator and brightness of the flash causes the pupil to contract. When the distance is greater, the camera doesn't put out enough light to cause the pupils to contract so when the flash reflects back, you've got red eye. It is also more visible on subjects who are not looking directly at the AF illuminator.
